While the whole industry of fishing may be somewhat gender specific as people who fish have always been known as fishermen and there are a number of images in our past including the Gordon's fishermen, Captain Ahab for Moby Dick, and several other images of men going off to sea while the women stay home, there is something of a shift in the cultural acceptance of women going fishing. And girls fishing is never been a problem for some people as in some parts of the world girls going fishing are fine. Even in coastal areas of the United States or places near large lakes, many of the women growing up today have always been fishing and this is nothing new.

However there are a number of women fishing that are catching the attention of people all over the world and this is one of the biggest things that is a change in our perception of women fishing. While girls fishing is sort of a cute and iconic image, fantasy has come in to play and often many men who wish they could see more of beautiful women fishing have taken to doing all sorts of things like making calendars, putting women up on a pedestal, and making beautiful women in fishing pictures one of the biggest things that people can appreciate. If you're talking about the ideal calendar for any fishermen it would be a calendar of beautiful women fishing and then they can always imagine.

There is also the whole idea of girls ice fishing which can be sort of a sexy and excellent turn on for many men. Girls fishing in bikinis and girls ice fishing in bikinis is pretty much the ultimate fantasy for many men. Pictures of women fishing will never go out of style even when you're talking about images as some men may not find all that flattering like women fly-fishing in the swamps or girls going fishing who are in less than flattering poses.

However the stigma has been broken in women fishing for real or women fishing for fantasy in pictures and catalogs and magazines and calendars has grown immensely in popularity over the last 20 years. Men like to put women in compromising situations and men often think that unless they are actually out there with the women on the water women fishing is sort of a non sequitur. However what many men don't realize is that women all the while our gaining these skills and putting themselves ahead of the men in terms of being better fishing people and advancing themselves.
